Review on 🐶 Eukanuba Adult Large Breed Lamb Dry Dog Food - 30 lb Bag -With Real Lamb as the 1st Ingredient by Marcia Estrella

I bought this as a cheaper option than Royal Canin but still good quality (or so I thought). My Golden Retriever was always ready to eat whatever food I gave him and had no problem switching between foods. He will literally eat anything. However, I decided to switch it up gradually, mixing the two edibles together and increasing the ratio of Eukanuba and Royal Canin each day. On the second day, he initially refused to eat, but then ate slowly. He had severe diarrhea throughout the day. I didn't get the connection and fed him another dinner which he eventually ate. He was incredibly gassy and asked to go outside every 30 minutes. Diarrhea again, then vomited 3 times at night. He looked better the next morning. I gave him a small amount of Royal Canin which he quickly swallowed. He stopped vomiting and his diarrhea got much better. I read some of the reviews and saw others comment on the lack of an expiration date and similar gastrointestinal symptoms in their dogs. I checked my bag and didn't see a date or batch number so I'm skeptical about the quality. Unfortunately, this item is non-returnable, although I received a refund after explaining my situation. They said I could either donate the bag or throw it away. I wouldn't even consider giving this material to an orphanage.
