There were mixed feelings about these shoes. The good news is that they are very comfortable and the measurements are accurate in both length and width. The bad news is that real shoes don't look exactly like the picture. The picture shows a shiny leather surface that looks beautiful. In fact, the shoes were a very dull, matte black color. So the shoe seemed to have a certain "age" from the start. I even applied black shoe polish to try to add some shine but it didn't help. Ironically, the soles are a nice glossy black color that contrasts with the rest of the shoe. Another detail that is not visible in the picture unless it is enlarged is that all the stitching is white. I've never been a fan of white stitching on black shoes so this was another disappointment. If the shoes looked like the picture they would have gotten 5 stars.
