It is of little use. Like others, I replaced the sandpaper as a cover with carpet using double-sided tape. Another downside is that if you use it in the driveway it will slide off the car unless you support it. There are no rubber feet or anything else to help it grip the surface. With my 80 lb lab it is very difficult to drive it with the foot of the ramp. He's finally getting used to it, but he slipped out from under him twice, causing him to be very careful with him. I don't know how to fix it. But when it works, it's very useful. I can't put my 10 year old boy in a car and as he gets older he (USA) will need it more and more.
