Useful though. - Stairs and steps

It is of little use. Like others, I replaced the sandpaper as a cover with carpet using double-sided tape. Another downside is that if you use it in the driveway it will slide off the car unless you support it. There are no rubber feet or anything else to help it grip the surface. With my 80 lb lab it is very difficult to drive it with the foot of the ramp. He's finally getting used to it, but he slipped out from under him twice, causing him to be very careful with him. I don't know how to fix…

This is the perfect fit for our adult dog in our crossover.

This is the perfect solution for getting our elderly golden retriever into our crossovers - she can get in and out easily but as a precaution we opted for a ramp - but as mentioned in previous reviews. , we made a small adjustment: I removed the sandpaper material, which is supposed to be non-slip (which it probably is, but also wears down the dog's paws so badly it's downright self-destructive!), and replaced it with artificial grass. I've used double sided fiberglass carpet tape for both…

Fully meets our requirements!

I've been looking for a strong, light weight and easy to transport car ramp for our aging collie for a long time. There are many ramps but they show no use with a normal car side door. Most of them feature photos of a ramp used on the back of a large pickup truck, or with sliding doors in a van or SUV. The 62" PetSafe Happy Ride Folding Pet Ramp is a perfect fit for our Nissan Sentra. We also use a pet hammock in the back seat to prevent our dog from falling to the floor of the back seat during

Goes well with carpet.

Used it on a day trip with pickup recently. I thought so but didn't really understand until I saw what many others were saying about the ramp's surface. It's supposed to help with traction, but it's actually like tiny pieces of glass. My dog didn't like it and I've had trouble using it for anything. And also . it also hurt my own hands when I folded or opened it. So, like many others, I put carpet on the sections. I didn't glue them permanently until I checked it. Definitely the way. (This ramp

Works at 110# Chocolate Lab!

Very light (I can lift it with one hand), folds easily and doesn't take up much space in my car. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND replacing the sandpaper, eg "Traction" coating with carpet for more grip. The sandpaper was like my dog trying to climb Emory's steep board and there was no traction at all. I went to Home Depot, they cut me a 6ft by 1ft piece of Berber rug for indoor/outdoor use, which I then cut into two 3ft lengths to even out the crease. I removed the sandpaper (which came off cleanly) and…

It works, but I had to change it.

This works - with some modifications. (See attached photo.) My dog can walk down this ramp instead of going down the three steps to the backyard. She is 14 years old and her legs are not as strong as they used to be, also she has arthritis. It was hard to watch her work so hard not to fall on her face as she walked down the stairs. I removed a sheet of black emery and replaced it with scraps of rug from Home Depot. Make sure the rug has some texture or some sort of ridge, as a smooth rug can be
