Review on PetSafe Replacement High Traction Tread Folding by Tina Coleman

Used it on a day trip with pickup recently. I thought so but didn't really understand until I saw what many others were saying about the ramp's surface. It's supposed to help with traction, but it's actually like tiny pieces of glass. My dog didn't like it and I've had trouble using it for anything. And also . it also hurt my own hands when I folded or opened it. So, like many others, I put carpet on the sections. I didn't glue them permanently until I checked it. Definitely the way. (This ramp is well priced and has so many other benefits that gluing the carpet is an inexpensive addition that's worth the effort.) that putting the edge of the ramp on top of the footrest is a lot more stable than trying to put them higher, close to the bottom of your back. I mean the lower to the bottom the better for stability and steepness. This is a VERY manageable weight. I'm a small woman (5ft 0in) and light and had no problem getting her out of the back seat. You have to decide where it is more convenient for you to store.) Conclusion: Recommended with carpet.
