Review on Bosch BC1451 QuietCast Premium Ceramic Rear Disc Brake Pad Set for Acura TSX and Honda Accord by John Thawngzauk

Bought these brakes for my 2014 Honda Accord Sport because of all the positive reviews! And let me just tell you, don't be fooled! I installed the brakes 2 weeks ago, they fit perfectly and don't make any noise as advertised. I thought I had made a sensible purchase until I took my car to the dealer for an oil change today, only to find the brakes were almost half worn! I figured that couldn't be true since it's only been 2 weeks. I had to see the mechanic in person and it's true! Told the mechanic I bought the Amazon brakes and she told me this was a general lesson (in this case, you get what you pay for): don't skimp on car brakes, buy OEM, they're guaranteed to last over 8 years Months ! I also ordered the front brake from Bosch, but based on my findings I will now send it back and only get the OEM brake pads! I only see this as a good buy if you install the brakes yourself every few months and then only pay for parts. In my case I have to pay the mechanic $50-80 for the labor plus the cost of the parts, its not worth it! I've had my previous Good OEM brakes for over a year so I will go back to them and never buy brakes from Amazon or Auto Zone like my mechanic instructed.
