This thread is of poor quality.

This thread lost the outer part of the thread and therefore became thinner and thinner as you sew. It kept tearing and I couldn't adjust the tension so it didn't build up on one side of the fabric. I wouldn't recommend using this thread on a sewing machine, but I've used it for hand sewing and it seems fine for that.
