Purchased to measure fingers and rings The aluminum mandrel cannot be used to resize rings. It is made of soft aluminium, hollow and can be damaged. The scale is a glued-on strip that must be correctly positioned during manufacture in order to read the correct scale. It reads smaller than the ring sizing rings that come with this pack. With this in mind, it can be useful, but not something you want. You may prefer to just buy the rings and find another setting e.g. B. the SE JT-SP2 Ungrooved & Marked Ring setting, which reads more accurately. In addition, the rings are advertised as stainless steel. They are metal but don't look like stainless steel. They are alright. But I love the truth in advertising.
