I tried several different cell phone holders and thought this would be the right one. Love the fact that it's at eye level so all I have to do is glance at direction. The problem is that it doesn't stay in one position; he kept turning to the passenger seat! In the end I taped the little extension holding it up and it's fine now, but it still doesn't stick to the mirror like I'd like. There are two pinch bolts on the rear that are a bit difficult to maneuver and I tightened them as best I could but they still recline under braking. Still better than any others I've had. A CD holder is too weak and covers the rear camera screen; a cup holder doesn't work because my cup holder is too far into the console; and the dashboard (glued) doesn't work for me here in Florida because my car gets too hot during the day and it just pops open. I almost crashed my phone several times because of them! If anyone finds a better one that looks like a good DSLR please let me know.
