Bought and tested for use as a skate light. Neat construction. Various lighting modes are good, but I believe full and half brightness are the most important ones for practical use. I was originally going to use this on my longboard, but it turned out to be bad - the elastic wasn't long enough to wrap around. However, they fit perfectly on a standard skateboard truck - after excitedly installing them, I had a great night on my cruiser. Depending on the depth/height of your kicktail, there may not be enough room for the taillight to face backwards (in which case it can still be mounted forward for visibility, or attached to a backpack, etc.). They aren't as flat or as comfortable as the shredlights and don't work on all boards. /trucks, but for a fraction of the cost, I'm happy with their performance.
