They are really great. They don't have an unpleasant odor like some and hold their shape surprisingly well. They have a slight odor that usually goes away, I'm very sensitive to smells. Others I threw away because of the disgusting smell. Another brand I really liked wasn't available but looked pretty much the same, had much softer bristles but worked quite well. These bristles work well and don't smear after the first use. I've used them dozens of times and they still hold their shape. Highly recommended.
