I bought them for a children's knit sweater. They are adorable and look just as cute as the picture. The quality is excellent, no burrs or sharp spots. They have a good shank size so they can be used in thicker fabrics. If you are a knitter they are perfect for single crochet stitches in fine yarn. One trick I found is to make the "ears" stick out a bit. This is not a problem if you insert (or remove) them into the loop first and not at the end. This way you can control where they go and not get caught on the edges of the knit/loop.
