Review on 📐 Enhance Precision Alignment with Longacre® 52-79505 Deluxe Toe Plates (Pair) by Todd Atherton

These inserts are of a higher quality than other inserts I have tried (jegs) as the top edge is 90 degrees to the insert and the bottom has a large 45 degree bend, they are stiffer and less likely to bend. The jegs plates I had previously were curved about 1/8 inch from side to side making it difficult to get the right toe measurements/adjustments. That being said, mine had 3 problems: 1) A magnet used to hold the bands was knocked off. They are simply glued on. 2) The 2 places where the measuring tapes go into the grooves were bent - apparently this was due to some sort of bump - but the box looked in good condition so I don't think it's delivery related - it probably happened at the factory. 3) Fewer problems - but the tape measure looks cheap and the plastic "handles" (not shown in the photos - probably for a good reason) are very stiff and just annoying. I'll probably remove them - they should be less rigid or a completely different material - like nylon. save with great effort and no return (I had to do the alignment the same weekend they arrived).
