This holder is very stable and suitable for smartphones and tablets. I was able to get a 9.7 inch iPad to work with. I bought it mainly for my Samsung Galaxy Z-Fold 2 5G and this mount is a bit backward given the location of the charging port, speakers and fingerprint scanner, which makes me look for another solution. Every time I decided to move the mount, it was a real hassle and didn't leave any visible marks or damage on the dashboard. I would recommend if you are trying to install a larger unit or have multiple units of different sizes. I won't deduct points for missing features (especially considering the price) but would love to see a version with wireless charging!
