You don't have a screen protector on your phone. I have an Otterbox on my Samsung Galaxy S7 with no screen protector and it fits in this case with free space and my touchscreen works well through clear vinyl. However, if you have a case with a screen protector, it doesn't respond as well to touching the clear vinyl. I would call it a difficult side case. It is very spacious, durable and easily attaches to the frame on both men's and women's bikes. The zippers are strong and open/close smoothly. It's not particularly attractive. Not to mention it's bulky and quite intrusive, and doesn't get in the way of your driving. Aesthetics aside, I like it and it's exactly what I was looking for.
