I don't often write reviews but I think this product deserves a review. For beginners like me using this product, I recommend reading the paper directions and NOT the directions on the bottle. The bottle says you can leave it on your hair for up to 10 minutes, but the paper directions say if this is your first time don't wear it for more than 3 minutes and over time you can use up to work 10 minutes. I didn't read this guide and left it in my hair for 10 minutes and I had blonde roots and purple ends. I recommend buying a clarifying shampoo with this product in case your hair turns purple like mine. I bleach my hair every summer and the hardest thing for me is getting a beautiful platinum blonde out of black. During this process, my hair is dyed various shades of orange and yellow, and it causes a ton of damage, not to mention hair loss (ugh!). Thought I'd try this year. You can see in the photos how dark my hair was yesterday and how amazing it is now and all I did was 1 application of bleach! It used to take me about 7 bleaches to get a decent color and this time I only needed 1 because of this product - AMAZING! I've used it twice. I left it on too long the first time, but I washed it off and the orange carrot hair on top turned golden yellow. I waited until morning to try a different shampoo before bleaching again to see what happens and the results have been amazing! I really can't believe how much my hair has changed and I've had 1 bleach treatment. I would recommend this product to everyone! You are doing something wrong if this product doesn't work for you.
