The Vive Neck Massager comes in a sturdy box with a removable power adapter. The massager comes with a glossy 8-page instruction manual, which seems redundant given the device's ease of use. However, it is good to have a guide. The massager is attached to the back of the chair with a rubber band with two Velcro fasteners. Unfortunately, when I tried to use this with my office chair, none of the Velcro straps were in the right place to securely attach the device to the chair. I ended up removing the pad and tying the rubber band. It should be a nylon strap (not elastic) with an adjustable clip, just like the movement of the massager, you don't want it to slip down. This massager has two balls that rise for a while and then fall for a while. There's no vibration, but there's a lot of noise that's noticeable right behind the head and annoying. The device switches off after 15 minutes. I have a neck that required almost nightly massages due to asymmetric tension and I was hoping this would discourage my wife from getting nightly massages. Unfortunately this does not help. As much as I would like to love and recommend this product, I do not love it and do not recommend it.
