It was easy to set up. I bought two. I cut a tube in half to connect them side by side. Then they connected the "feeding zones" to the penetration zone. I punched holes (with slits) in the gel as suggested in the comments section. The ant tubes were cold (they came 2 days early) so they willingly dumped them, one tube in each section. I have water cotton and some food. Only 4 ants were dead at once. They are very active. I can only post one video but it took them (just one page at first) an hour and a half to figure out how to get to the feeding ground. At the beginning I also put a small pinch of bread on the gel at both ends of both sets. I figured they must have been hungry after being in the vial for about 4-5 days. Then deleted after a few hours. In general, everyone is happy to see what they are doing, at least for the night. (Four hours later they dug a tunnel in the corner on one side.) Great time. The only problem I see is that the lids on the feeding areas are VERY loose. Take care of your kids so they don't get loose and release the ants. BTW, I didn't get bitten or stung and I had to take one about 6 or 8 times! Be careful.
