Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Stylish KEEN Newport H2 Depths Gargoyle Boys' Shoes: Perfect Blend of Fashion & Function by Will Kern

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I figured!

I've been searching back and forth for a couple of weeks to find the best sandals for my very active, shoe-busting, toe-slipping son. I went through the reviews of all the variations of Kin, Kamik, Merrell, Plee etc and to be honest they all had their pros and cons but none sounded better than the other. When I finally decided on the style and brand, size mattered. Some people swore Keene Newport was short; others claimed they were true to size; Everyone else said the sizes are great. I couldn't get a direct answer anywhere. But one thing I noticed in some reviews is that they are snug around the ankle so it can be difficult to get sweaty feet in and out. My son wears a size 1 in his other shoes so I bought 2 thinking I could always return them or keep them and wait for his feet to grow. Boy am I glad I appreciated it! They just fit him perfectly - with plenty of room in the toes for his feet to grow. He can walk and run, his ankles don't lift and so far he has had no trouble putting them on and taking them off by himself. What I really like is that the rubber on the toes runs down the sides - a HUGE benefit for me as my kid likes to use his feet as brakes on his bike. And on most other shoes, it will wear down the rubber and adjacent fabric within weeks. Some people talked about the smell after wearing them, but they said that you can wash these sandals and they wash off right away. I'm happy with these kins so far! And my son too, he says they are comfortable and his piglets can breathe :)
