Review on Crosley C200A-BK Direct-Drive Turntable with S-Shaped Tone Arm in Black – Enhanced SEO by Isaac Maze

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Performance is ideal when the Stamina system is fitted

Tonearm does not auto-return after play as professional players with a live disc jockey doesn't need this feature as the Di-Jay is constantly raising the tonearm to change records - this automatic feature is actually very annoying. A few years ago I had an electrician turn off two nice little Panasonics I got from JC Penney because it was a pain in the ass. Even at home I grab my needle and put the record away before it gets on the label. I guess belt drive or direct drive is personal preference otherwise they wouldn't make both, A well built TT should last for decades if not handled by hand. Crosley is well known for making decorative toys, instead of true high-end audio device, this product could be a good way for them to change their brand. It's odd that this player is an exact replica of the Audio Technica AT-LP120 - take a closer look and compare them, they're literally IDENTICAL as if pressed from the same mold. If Audio Technica doesn't make them for Crosley, but just uses another label, they should sue for patent infringement on their design. In other words, if you buy one of these you can get a discounted Audio Technica with a Crosley sticker on it. But you didn't hear it from me. they have to sue for patent infringement on their design.
