Ideal for energy efficient 3-strip lamps. There are no quality control issues, but there are no issues with the durability of the experience. We used either triple incandescent bulbs (energy hogs) or equivalent 60W LED bulbs or CFL bulbs (which don't take advantage of the multiple brightness settings of three-strip lights). These 40-60-100 watt bulbs are a bit dim on the 40 watt setting, but they seem to be sufficient for the table or bedside lamps they are mounted in, and allow you to brighten them up when needed by increasing the wattage setting . The 2700K lightbulbs are a bit yellow as in the product photos but seem to be sufficient for our use, especially as each of our rooms also has a 4-light ceiling fan which can be used when bright lighting is needed.
