, I needed a small CD player to play in bed when I was sleeping or to listen to music. I listen to teachings at night. I needed a remote control. This one did. Fits in a small space or stands on a small stand or even wall mounted if you prefer. You can also use Bluetooth. I can play very quietly to sleep. The bad thing about all of this is the squeak that never goes away. The lower the volume, the clearer the creaking. But I love its size so much that I just choose to ignore it and not let it bother me. I had an old radio that only played CDs, no MP3s. I love Kenneth Copeland, Charles Capps, Joyce Meyer, Bill Winston. Many of her works are stored in MP3 format. Worked fine for my purposes but no sound quality if that's what you're looking for.
