Review on U32 Shadow 1TB External SSD USB-C Portable Solid State Drive (USB 3 by Darrell Shreves

I bought this CD because as a director shooting everything in 6k RAW I needed a quick transfer. I burn everything onto 1TB T7 discs (they get 1000MB) and transfer to that disc. It's really nice to have 8TB, but the write speed drops to 160MB/s after 30 seconds. I used to buy 4TB fast drives from Seagate (they've been discontinued) and they've been running at 250MB all along. I've tried many different cables and used TB3 ports, but it just can't keep up with its speed. The maximum I've seen is 400MB for about 15 seconds. It's definitely not worth $1,000.
