I've read a lot of articles online about wireless bridges and I still wasn't sure. I ordered these units after watching about a dozen YouTube videos on installation. I initially set them up across the room to test them and they connected immediately. Lay a Cat6 cable on the house wall and set up the first device. Revolution. They are labeled "Access Point and Station". (A hotspot is a device that connects to your internet modem in your home.) as the LED signal strips were difficult to see in daylight. After aligning them, I installed the router in the mast shed. Wow! it works. Wifi, internet in good condition. The instructions were a little vague and difficult to understand, but if you watch a few videos online you'll get the idea. Remember. (access point is your home) and (station is your remote installation. barn, second home, tree fort, etc.) Hope this helps!
