Review on ApexGaming STG-650 PSU: High Performance 2020 80+ Gold Certified 650W Power Supply for RTX3070 Gaming GPU by Alif Wills

I recently decided to revive my computing activities. Due to poor eyesight and other limitations, I needed a 4K resolution. I'm an old Unix engineer so Linux/FreeBSD was the obvious choice. I don't care about gaming at all, but gaming hardware tends to be more powerful and better quality than "consumer" hardware that is priced above all else. chosen. Knowing what I wanted and wanted to do with the system, I realized that a 450W PSU would be the right choice. So I was looking for something nearly twice the size (there is such a thing as an oversized power supply). The best value in the 700w range with the best features was this device and another that was almost identical. This just sounded better. Basically better in terms of more honest advertising. As a regular customer of Revain Prime, I can give back anything I want. I rarely do this, but with a component as critical as the power supply, I wanted this option. The ordered device arrived quickly, in excellent condition and looked very well made. A few weeks later, my high opinion of this device hasn't changed. Works great, very quiet and cool. My system has 2 x 4TB server grade drives, 1 SSD, 2 M.2 NVMe (black WD 500G), 32MB RAM, 8 AMD cores with 10% overclock (RAM with 18% overclock), water cooling, 7 fans, lots of gauges (my grandson loves them) and I don't think BP is really trying. I need to hook up some tools, but what the OS and BIOS are telling me is indistinguishable from idle. So if you need a medium power supply for a hot system, try this one. You must be very happy. And no, I am not being paid for this review.
