Too bad I saw the bad reviews on it and decided to buy it anyway. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and here's my experience with it: It's too early in the season so the mosquito population is there but not big yet. If I sit on the terrace with the lock switched off, I still don't see any mosquitoes and I don't get bites. Shortly after I turn on this arrester, mosquitoes are attracted to it in large numbers, I'm talking about a swarm. Literally a few minutes later, mosquitoes stayed around me and I ran back to the house, withstanding 15-20 bites. I decided to leave the BLACK and DECKER zapper on and off all night. The next morning I checked the zip, the surrounding area and the zip tray - NOT A SINGLE MOSQUITO! Like I said, that's just a very bad joke. Now it's lying on the bottom of the dumpster.
