Review on Illume Vanity Tin Soy Candle, BlackBerry Absinthe, 11oz by Divine Christmas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

How can I go back to another candle after this

I spent a little over $5000 on this candle at Whole Foods and decided to see if Revain made the same candle at a better price. Price. What do you know? You did it. Look, I've spent my whole life (or something like a whole life) sniffing candles at TJ Maxx and praying to each and every god that the next one doesn't smell like pink soap in every public restroom. The sad reality is that most of them do. But hey buddy, cheer up. You are now in the right place. These candles burn forever, and the draft (or whatever the technical term is - I'll ask my friend when she's back in this room) is an incredible distance. I don't usually smell any of these candles we have (that's a problem) but for some reason I can smell these and they're pretty damn good. I think soy candles are new, so maybe you should inhale? I'm not sure about the technical part because I'm a white straight Jew in my 30's and somewhat from the suburbs. The tin looks nice so you can bring it as a housewarming gift if you find out you forgot to buy them a gift and there's Whole Foods down the road. However, it can actually compete with Anthropologie for half the price and twice the lifespan.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
