The worst engineered piece of grunt I've ever had in my truck. It never seems to catch anything even though I squeeze the pan screw to tighten it. I have a 2005 GMC pickup, when it's in the raised position it shakes wildly and the phone blocks my view of the window. When the ball is upside down it hits the switch and the phone faces the cup holders on the floor, the screen is not visible. It might stay somewhere if I slam the door on it, but otherwise it's useless.
