Have been using these sets for years and refuse to buy anything else! Used black for the first time today. Taylor33 told me that black is the least reflective color they have. Well I have to say it's still light. The photos are nothing but the flash of my cheap camera phone and they shine PERFECTLY. I'm VERY happy and should be, so the black is probably as vibrant as any other color I've used so far. If I ever get a bike or new wheels again, I will definitely order them again! Outperforms all other brands so far. I haven't seen a kit that's even remotely compatible! Some say they're expensive and that may be true compared to some other kits, but guess what, they work a million times better. So if you ask me, I'm willing to pay a few bucks more for quality that lasts and looks great!
