Second Change: Beautiful Proper customer service is finally here. After the first cap broke after about a year, the replacement cap broke in just 3 months. Our first email to Nicely Neat regarding the second cover went unanswered, we contacted them again and this time received a quick response. They offered to replace the cover for the second time and undertook to find out the reason the second cover only lasted 3 months. They also offered to refund our original cost. We chose the last option. We now give Nicely Neat 5 stars for customer service but only 1 star for the cover to give a final 3 star rating. Edited Review: We were disappointed with the case and the Nicely Neat customer service. The lid comes with a 3 year guarantee. A year later the material began to crumble. We contacted Nicely Neat and they quickly replaced it under warranty. We've only had the replacement cap for 3 months and now it's starting to crumble too. As we still have three years of warranty left we have requested another replacement but Nicely Neat has not responded to our email. We were initially drawn to this lid for the brown color rather than the usual black or black and silver. They are made from a denser fabric than our old covers and the center section has an extra waterproof PVC layer on the inside. The elastic boot fits snugly around the bottom of the wheels while the zip strap goes under the bike for added security. Our bikes are kept in a safe place, but it's nice to know there are holes for bike locks should we ever need them. a pair of XL covers for our 26" cruisers. They were too big so we sent them back and bought bigger ones. Our bikes are about 65" overall, so the big bags (69" long) fit really well. It wasn't too difficult getting enough slack to get the covers on even though one of the bikes has a pannier up front.
