I have decided to upgrade my 1080p monitor to 1440p as I have upgraded my graphics card. The refresh rate is the standard 60Hz screen rate, but in the games I play, 60Hz is all you really need. The graphics look very clean and crisp. I also bought it because it has 2 HDMI ports and 1 display port so I can connect more things to the monitor. I don't regret the move to 1440p, but if competitive gaming is your thing, you might be better off getting a 1080p 144Hz monitor in the same price range. If, like me, you only play games like Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider, etc. and want good picture quality, then this is for you.
