I connected it to a Macbook Pro 2015, which worked fine with an old LCD monitor (1080p). This Viewsonic monitor connects via DisplayPort. The audio output from the monitor goes to my powered speakers. The monitors themselves had a few dead pixels (I bought two and both have dead pixels in different places) that I decided to live with. Excellent value for money for a 27" 1440p screen. The bezel is fairly thin and looks great when used with multiple displays. I use two of them in portrait mode and a resolution of 1440 is big enough for a standard web page at full desktop resolution (which is usually between 1000 and 1600 pixels, with most being in the 1400 pixel range). 1440p resolution is much better than 1080p monitors which limit horizontal bandwidth when placed in portrait mode. This rating is after 3 months of use. The monitor is fine. Not 100% perfect though. I would still recommend for certain applications like a secondary monitor, although I have issues with sophistication. I have 2 dead pixel spots, tiny ones that can only be seen when searching. This is my second View Sonic and I've never had a problem. Very good price for a very good screen with many connectivity options. I am very satisfied and will buy more if necessary.

It is of course a 2k monitor. Brightness and viewing angles are good. For some reason the text on the screen seems blurry to me. I'm not sure if this is really a monitor issue or an issue with my PC settings. I am not a gamer and have not used it in any game. I'm having similar issues with general text sharpness. It's not bad, but I have it on a stand (in portrait mode) along with another 1440P 27" and 1440P 21:9, 34" display (all IPS) and the text is noticeably worse on the VA2719. Another oddity is that the screen almost has a "texture" that is very noticeable when you move the window across the screen. Colors could be richer but overall a very good monitor, especially for the price. Delivered quickly, works well, easy to set up.

So the first problem I had was that for some reason my graphics card wasn't detecting the correct resolution for the monitor, which I fixed by unplugging the cable. The main problem I'm facing right now is blurry text as some have said. That's a bit washed out compared to my other $600 monitor, so I don't mind since it was a lot cheaper. I also believe it can be fixed if you can change the sharpness setting on the monitor at native resolution.

This monitor is really good. It was bought specifically to have a slightly higher resolution than HD and the extra workspace is good. There are no problems with the color. It just works and looks great.

For a side monitor it's ok. Thanks to the anti-glare coating, the screen appears grainy and foggy, especially against a bright background. It's also a bit disappointing given the supposed ips. Sharper viewing angles make the screen darker and the image too warm. It's fine as a side monitor, but I wouldn't recommend it as a main display.

I bought this monitor along with my recently purchased GFX10606gb. I play bf1 and this monitor is a delight. A month later, I still admire the graphics while gaming. The image quality is definitely superior to its class. A real bargain for this price. The slim design with glass base makes the monitor attractive and very easy to set up.

The picture is nice and clear. No problem connecting to my Mac mini with mini displayport cable at 2560 x 1440 resolution. The built in speakers sound worse than the world's shittiest AM radio. You will definitely need external speakers.

I'm by no means a videophile, but these are quality monitors at a great price. The included stand is pretty low, but I had an existing mount so I didn't even use it.

I needed a bigger monitor for my laptop. The size is good. Clarity is very good. It has a nice matte finish and reduces glare. I've seen better monitors (brighter and sharper) that cost 2-4 times more. However, this is a very good monitor for the price and good for "office" work (as opposed to gaming). I am happy with the purchase. I use it with a large monitor stand, so I use my laptop underneath.
