Yes, we are one of the remaining households with a landline phone and a cordless phone. (Hey, it's not a clamshell!) About every 3 years the phone dies because the battery refuses to hold a charge. This is simply a function of rechargeable batteries. This battery brought the phone back to life. I installed it, left it charged overnight and it was working again in the morning.
