The product would be perfect if it wasn't for the sticking on the mounting surface. I used the device once and it detached and therefore does not work. It came with screws but the peeled part only has an adhesive pad, no screw holes and it's hard steel so I can't drill holes in the unit myself. The magnet on it is pretty strong, which is usually good, but if it pulls the strap off the stand every time then the whole device becomes useless. Both parts must be pre-drilled so that you can make your choice between screw mounting or adhesive mounting. So it was a waste of money and now I have to buy something else. Too bad because I need another device for another door but this device won't be it.
