This is a durable product for the automotive industry (mainly see below). However. However, for HVAC/R (advertised r410a) it does not meet the MINIMUM SNUFF. * The blue hose (angled end) on mine leaked (leaked) with every movement, no matter how tight. You can't afford that when you're dealing with a $250 R410a refrigerant charge. $8 Autofreon, maybe you can afford that kind of "bet". this was the "new initial state" on auto print (hvac/r above). others "seem fine" if not better than the yellow jacket, but not knowing ahead of time is a bigger problem than you might think because HVAC* sensors don't screw in properly. You will need to overtighten the 1/4" NTP threads to keep the dials (a) from leaking and (b) facing forward. Obviously made in China, "we don't care".* Also for cars you should buy more hoses and wait for their arrival? Are you really saving money? Go ahead if you are on a car budget. Don't even worry about HVAC/r R410A even if the hoses can pull a nasty vacuum cleaner if they work if (but really if you drop below 200 you screw up your oil. Want a nasty vacuum cleaner?)
