You can extend the cable from the Ultrasonic Sensor

overall it works, pros - its water proof, cons - the Ultrasonic Sensor cable can not be extended. I tried. you will need to house the circuit board and mount it away from the Arduino or Board of your choice. and extend the power ground trig echo circuits. so far I have the cable at 20 feet and it works.

Pros

There a lot of clones in this space. These are actual JSN brand boards.

Cons

The maximum range of the sensor (approximately 6 meters) may not be sufficient for some applications
