Ease of installation. much better than toe clips

I bought these for my son to use on our Peloton bike. I have tried the toe clips available on the Peloton website and all I can say is that you should avoid them. They're difficult to buckle up or take off - when some of you wear bike shoes and others just want to ride in trainers, it's a real agony - and all the pressure points are wrong. My son complained that he felt like he was putting his toes on the pedals. With them you attach them to the bottom of the pedals and don't have to take them off if you want to ride in the shoes. If someone wants to ride in sneakers, just spin the pedals and you get a nice wide platform (like regular bike pedals) and an adjustable fabric strap to attach your feet to. So far no problems. The kit includes platforms for the pedals, new longer bolts for the bottom of the pedals, a wrench for removing and replacing the bolts, and cloth loops. There is an illustrated installation guide (4 or 5 steps with photos) but the hardest part is getting the fabric loops through the platforms correctly - do this before attaching them to the pedals!

Pros
  • GOOD FOR PELOTON BIKE
Cons
  • Pretty good
