Review on ๐Ÿ’ป SANOXY Laptop Cooling Fan Pad - USB Powered Laptop Cooler by Colin Watkins

3. Trying to buy a good laptop cooler, Best of Three

First I bought a white Belkin and it was small and the cable and fan broke in less than 6 months. Then I bought a "cooler master" which cost almost 30.00 and two fans or a cable or something stopped working after 3 months! At this point I thought what the heck I tried the more expensive options let's try this. I love it. I have an Acer 5741 G that overheats like crazy (among other things a new laptop shouldn't) so it now shuts down in under an hour of normal use. Really bad. So I was forced to use these fans which I have never had to use on other laptops before. I really like the Cooler Master's slanted metal design, it's very well made and comfortable, but I still needed those fans. Now I just glue this new cheap fan kit onto the master cooler that had the fans broken, which worked fine because they were removable fans. It fits very well in my lap and on my desk and I really like the lighting and as many have mentioned these fans are very quiet. This is by far the best setup I've tried. I am so satisfied that I will order another one as a backup. What I find interesting is that I haven't seen a single review here where someone complains that they broke it. While with all the other, more expensive ones, people complained that they broke. The only thing I really don't like is that the USB port is a sharp piece of metal that has cut my arm twice already. Acer only has 2 USB ports on the side, so you'll need to connect those on the side. I don't know what they were thinking with that sharp opening they left open that sticks out quite a bit and is dangerous. Guess I'll have to tape it around so I don't cut myself. Or I just stuck my tiny mouse button in, but it sticks out quite a bit.
