When it arrived the box with the plastic jar of urea cream was wet on one side. I was afraid the jar would get crushed but no - the cream somehow dripped out of the jar by the lid - nothing broke, in fact the flat plastic stopper that sits on top of the jar stayed in place. There was no external seal on the lid or jar. The lid was slightly ajar so the cream must have spilled. The cream is actually very pleasant. I ended up collecting it and smearing it onto very dry, itchy skin on my legs. It is very soothing, there is no noticeable smell, hands and fingers got slippery for a while and the cream can still be felt on the legs. I wasn't sure if the cream would stay on the surface or dissolve into the skin - it did! It's a moisturizer and it has soothed and softened my feet, tomorrow I'll try it in heels (still in summer sandals). The ingredient that helps repair skin is 40% Urea which if you have heard of this you know it is very good for damaged and problematic skin.
