We have these lights to decorate our fireplace for Easter. In that regard, ASYN Fade looks very good! These are cords so there is no separate lightbulb on the Christmas cords which may vary slightly. Also note that they are USB powered (although you can use an adapter to plug them in as usual). There's plenty of cord so you can plug it in and light up a little further. Once plugged in, the light works well even during the day. The remote control is useful, but not absolutely necessary - almost everything can be done at the push of a button on the USB. The only difference is the timer setting. It has 16 colors but most of them are quite similar but you can quite well choose what you are looking for. The Jump and Fade modes look pretty neat. A built in timer is pretty cool depending on where you want to put it as it can skip plugging and unplugging or use an external timer. You can also tell that the company has put a lot of effort into these lights. They come in a little box with a lot of stuff. Aside from the flashlight and remote control, there's also a spare battery (nice touch), instructions (pretty clear), and a support card. The lights are actually pretty well made and seem to be of pretty good quality, better than other lights I've seen. Overall better than I expected from such lamps!
