Be sure what you want before complaining.

Several negative posters have complained that it doesn't absorb well or that it's waxy. It is very clear on the product that it is best to heat it before application and that it contains wax. Wax is a sealant so of course it doesn't absorb as easily as a straight oil product. I recommend the following. Instead of this conditioner, start with a simple cutting board oil like Howard BBB012 Cutting Board Oil, which contains only food-grade mineral oil and some vitamin E as a stabilizer. Start with a very clean, very dry surface. However, it is advisable to warm the oil before applying it. Apply a thin layer to all exposed surfaces and leave on. Repeat this several times. The first layers absorb quickly, subsequent layers can take an hour to a day - it's a slow (and potentially tedious) process, but it's worth it! You really want the wood to be soaked in as much oil as possible. Then apply a final coat or two, apply this conditioner and follow the directions carefully. Wax is used for sealing, so DO NOT use this product on particularly thick surfaces! Yes, the surface may be a bit oily and waxy for a day or two. That's good because it means microbially laden food juices don't end up in the wood grain. Simply wipe well with a paper towel before and after use. If the cut area starts to dry out or if you actually had to wash it, just reapply conditioner. Again, start as dry and clean as possible. Be sure to follow the instructions again. Heat it up before use etc. If you take good care of your surfaces it won't take more than a coat or two to repair them.. a separate chopping board (no chopping board). I only treat one surface at a time and apply cling film to the still oily surface once it cools. Leave this side face down for a day or two so it still has a dry surface to cut. Then, on the day we're away, I turn it over, remove the packaging, and dry it thoroughly with paper towels to minimize the amount of oil and wax on the surface. In a week I'll take care of the other side: wash, dry well, then work a little with conditioner and a napkin. will stay beautiful for years and you will stay healthier!
