Causes interference with MacBook Pro

I used 2 of these to connect my MacBook Pro to two external monitors. One started to go bad and is now causing interference in my MPB affecting the power supply (SMC/System Management Controller) and WIFI. I connected other cables to troubleshoot and this cable is causing the problem. The other of the two cables still seems to be working fine, but now the question is how long will it last?
