As shown in one of the photos in the Walmart listing, this work light can be used standalone or mounted on the tripod. There’s a latch on top of the tripod for securing the light. Unfortunately, the latch on my tripod was damaged during shipping (see attached photo). It took quite a bit of finagling with pliers to get the latch back into proper working order. There is a 120V/10A socket on the back of one light, and two USB-A charge ports on the back of the other light. The lights are very bright, and draw 190W combined (i.e., around 95W each).I’ve own several SMD LED spot lights constructed very similar to these. The first few lasted only 2 to 3 years of infrequent use. Then I found the problem. SMD LED lights such as these consist of only a few parts. Three power wires (i.e., hot, neutral, and ground) are soldered directly onto a circuit board containing the SMD LEDs themselves and support circuitry. Thermal compound is applied to the back of the board, and the board screwed onto the housing, which acts as a heat sink. The problem is that during assembly, the thermal compound on some lights had not been applied evenly on the entire board, resulting in inadequate heat transfer whenever there’s a bare spot. The LEDs overheat and burn out quickly in these areas. When enough LEDs burn out, the entire board fails. Now, whenever I buy an SMD LED light, I disassemble and re-apply the thermal compound before putting the light in service. Unfortunately, these lights are completely sealed and cannot be disassembled. The only thing to do is hope for the best.Overall, I think these are decent quality lights. The tripod is sturdy and the lights are bright. The only minor complain I have is that the power cord is a bit too short.Update (8/7/2022)------------------------I noticed something strange with these lights. Even when the switch is toggled to "off,” there’s a slight glow on some of the LEDs (see last photo). Unplugging turns the LEDs completely off, eliminating the glow. I connected a power meter to see how much power the LEDs are drawing. Unfortunately, my meter only goes down to 0.1 watt. So the LEDs are drawing less than that. I was contemplating dropping my rating from 4 to 3 stars but decided not to because I think this is a good light otherwise.
