I have a 2011 Toyota Tacoma that this was designed for. I decided to buy this so I can get a brake controller. What if I need to tow an RV or something? My owner's manual says where the factory installed fork will be located. Directly behind the left footplate. I have a remote starter on my truck. All the wiring is hidden there. makes it harder to find my fork. Once I found the connector, I had to carefully pull it out from behind the starter cables. The factory doesn't give you many wires on the factory plug. But once aligned it was quick and the connector connected. Now all you have to do is get the controller.
