Great value for money, easy to install digging through the wires in my truck (it took 5x longer than installing the brake controller). I attach mine with velcro, not the included mount.

Great product for the money. This is highly recommended when remodeling your 7 pin. Pre-installed and sealed! I have it 3 in my installation because the wiring diagram (colors) doesn't match the actual wiring. Thank God I calculated everything in advance, otherwise I would have gotten on my nerves.

The dealer placed my 7 pin receiver under my Jeep's bumper. Every time I veered off the road it would come off. Once I almost had to abandon my caravan. I drilled a hole in a Smitybilt steel bumper and put it in the hole. Works great. Everyone is wondering why this isn't standard equipment on an SUV.

Needed RV 7 blade connection on my SUV for towing. I could see the durability and weather protection was well done. My mechanic had a problem connecting to my SUV due to wire colors. Wire colors do not match universal RV 7-sheet color coding chart. He had to do extensive testing to find out. If you pay the mechanic an hourly rate, this part can get expensive.

maybe 2 feet if stretched with a winch on a very sunny day is not waterproof just a rubber boot covering the ankle I believe this is more than just a $6 receiver and 2 Foot wires together {it doesn't look like a factory connector on the back, it's just a stripped wire that screws into the back of the receiver}

The connector appeared to be fairly solid, although not as solid as the Ford OEM connector it replaced. The molded cable was good and the length was just right for my purpose. Installation was easy. . I simply drilled a 2" hole in the steel bumper next to the license plate and then used self tapping screws to attach the connector.
