Review on Genuine OEM Mazda KDY0-46-040 SWITCH: Guaranteed Quality and Authenticity by Ian Krump

This is exactly what I needed to fix the annoying (and potentially dangerous - being left in the middle of nowhere with a dead battery is no good!) problem of not recognizing a car , when it's in park and therefore doesn't turn off the infotainment console when the car is off. I found a workaround by repeatedly and firmly going into "park" mode until it turned off completely, but this method wasn't reliable and seemed to lose its effectiveness. $230 compared to what the dealer ($290) would charge for a replacement. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and it works great. It's so nice to shift into park smoothly and have the car perform as it should.
