I accidentally ordered these reins with a single click while we were at Paul Taylor's in Pilot's Point, Texas. I was just trying to compare prices before buying there. However. They showed up after a few days and are actually pretty cute. I'm pretty picky about the feel of leather in my hands, if it feels cheap I don't want it. Somehow I always "touch" the reins in the saddle shops and pick the ones I like in my hand, flip the label and they will always, always be the most expensive reins in that place. :P They are very comfortable in my hands. I have no complaints about it, but for the money - an excellent buy. If you like thicker, heavier reins, these are not for you. I like mine quite thin and they feel great. Update: I only bought a second set because we always run out of reins when the kids and their buddies start playing musical instruments. i still love her
