I thought about giving this product a 4 star rating because it doesn't have a power switch. But I'm so pleased with its functionality that I've decided to be generous. The fan is very quiet but seems to be sufficient as the aluminum case is cool to the touch. I originally bought a very similar Mighty Max Battery charger from Revain which was very noisy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017TI8M0A/ I like the four indicator lights on this unit; slightly more useful than other models. I added a 3ft extension for the device and connected it to the charger via the power button: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0113VTPSW/BTW when I first started using this charger. didn't work properly. The battery never got a full charge - the last light kept flashing after charging forever. I charged new batteries. (The wheelchair salesman told me the batteries sometimes go bad and won't accept a full charge.) Next time the battery accepted a full charge and the charger has been working great ever since.
