Fuel line disconnect tools Value for money

I have a lot of Astro tools (their mechanical lights are amazing), there's a lot in this master kit, just wish each piece was a little built stronger. Let's see how it holds up over time. Don't let that stop you from getting a kit that's worth the money.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not sure

Essential for modern technicians

Love this set, very affordable and great coverage. The only reason I had to redeem it was because I left it under a truck and continued testing it. Needless to say I never found it going back on my route. It mates with most major manufacturers' quick couplers and is rebranded by most tool carts and sold at a premium price.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Cheaply made for fuel line disconnect tools

I love Astro and own many of their products. It doesn't do them justice. Took me three minutes between unboxing and returning this cheap crappy kit. Really nothing for your company. Either improve the quality or stop making them. Again, I have had at least 5 other Astro tool kits and am very happy with all of them.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Nothing here

They do the job they were designed to do

They do their job. I like that they are neatly packaged in a case. Before this set I bought 2 or 3 sets of cheap plastic parting tools because I ended up losing them all or bumping into them and breaking them. That way, if they get lost, at least it's my fault for not putting them back in the case.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • There are downsides

It works for me, it's an old set.

If it works, I don't mind. Used on Ford fuel lines as well as a GM heater hose quick connector. Made the job easier and what more can you ask for. This is an old kit, maybe there are more complete kits available. I bought mine way before the Twilight Zone in 2017. All sets are made of plastic, so you have to be careful with each of them.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No instructions

Quality is poor but it works so take what you want

I like the variety of the set. Let's see how it works. I saw a review from someone saying if you use it every day you should buy a higher quality kit. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. They seem very cheap and don't stand up to everyday use, but as the saying goes. You get what you pay for. NFG. Overall not bad just wish the quality of the instrument was better and not cheap.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Negative impression

I ordered this tool kit because of all the good reviews and the fact that it would work to remove the fuel filter on my '03 Ranger FX4 OFF-ROAD. I was very disappointed for several reasons. First, due to the poor quality of the instruments, especially the scissor instruments, the piles that come together in a line are nowhere near aligned when stacked, and some of them had one side longer than the other, they simply lack the feel and look of quality instruments. Also, the plastic case that…

Pros
  • Confident

  • Out of fashion
