Review on Safavieh Mystique Collection Watercolor Overdyed Distressed Area Rug, 3' x 5' - Green / Multi: Stylish and Vibrant Rug for Any Space by Kelly Caballes

. I bought this rug in green/multicolour. The colors are beautiful and remind me of Monet's water lily pond. The carpet is made in bright colors: light yellow, light green and mint green, light blue, purple, light white and light brown. I thought (and hoped) that the colors would be more muted. The border is mint green and the overall color scheme is turquoise. The carpet has a slight sheen and one side appears lighter than the other. I find it desirable and attractive. The carpet is very thin as expected and needs padding for comfort and safety. I give 4 stars because of the color. I was expecting more muted tones. I will keep the mat and hope to get used to the brightness. I used to have a fluffy wool rug in muted beige tones, which makes a big difference to me. I'm still waiting for the ends of the rug to settle and lay flat. It's been a few days and although the ends curl at night they are still lifted a little.
